St Joachim’s School is a Christ centred Catholic community of faith which seeks to develop our children to their full potential.
St Joachim’s School is a Brisbane Catholic Education School that was established by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1938. Our school is a high quality learning community with an enrolment of 240 students. St Joachim’s is a co-educational school, offering classes from Prep to Year Seven. We offer a caring learning environment and a professional staff, who will assist your child to grow during their time with us.
St Joachim’s School is supported by the extensive resources of the Brisbane Catholic Education Office to provide a broad curriculum choice with emphasis on individual potential and ability. Our growing school provides a community atmosphere with parents being encouraged to take an active part in their child’s education. Our new school library and resource centre, undercover sports centre, four new classrooms and music room were completed in May 2011. Since 2006 the entire school has now been completely rebuilt, providing modern, air-conditioned and wireless networked classrooms situated in grounds that have a pleasing mixture of grass play areas and green, environmentally friendly surrounds.
In the pages that follow you will find a range of information about our school. I encourage you to take some time to explore our site and I invite you to contact me if you have any further enquiries.
