Congratulations to the St Joachim’s Track and Field Team who competed at the Inter-school Athletics Carnival last week. I was honoured to spend some time on the track and was able to witness the pride, enjoyment and competiveness of our runners, jumpers and throwers demonstrated throughout the day. Our Ball Games teams were the overall winners of the carnival beating 10 other Catholic schools! Thank you to Mrs Jacks, Mrs Houlihan, Mr Jonathan Campbell and Mr Nunan for their wonderful assistance throughout the day.
